Biography
Lisa Driskell, PhD, is a professor of mathematics at Colorado Mesa University. She has taught courses throughout the mathematics curriculum and especially enjoys teaching Mathematical Investigations, Calculus, and Introduction to Advanced Mathematics.
Driskell's research interests are shifting to Mathematics Education. She is currently concerned with topics related to the teaching and learning in introductory courses and is interested in studying how students' perspectives about mathematics shift after completing a course designed to incorporate topics relevant to students' lives.
Outside of work, Driskell enjoys hiking local desert trails, visiting friends and family, and traveling abroad.
